Color Purple Day: Spray some shaving cream in a plastic bag. Add a few drops of red and blue food coloring to the shaving cream. Have child squeeze the bag to mix colors and watch the color purple appear. Read "Harold and the Purple Crayon" and then ask child to draw a purple picture.

Slime recipe: Mix 1 cup liquid starch and 1 cup CLEAR glue. Divide mixture into 2-3 separate bowls and add food coloring as desired. Enjoy squishing, stretching, and playing with this mixture.
